How to read the shade numbers

The number before the point is the depth level, from 1 (black) up to 12 (arctic blonde). The digits after the point show the tone: the first digit is the main tone and the second is the secondary tone. A repeated digit, such as 6.66 or 4.77, means that tone is intensified. For example, 9.12 is a very light blonde with an ash main tone and a violet secondary tone.
