How to choose: for cutting, a lightweight water-resistant polyester cape with a snap or adjustable closure is easiest to shake out and wash; for colour and bleach work, pick a chemical-resistant cape you can wipe down; a rubber or silicone neck stops loose hair going down the collar. Standard capes are around 140 x 160cm, so check the size and collar measurement on the product page. Neck strips go under the cape for a clean barrier every client.
