Which SAKURA scissor should I choose?

Choose a cutting scissor, such as the Elite right-hand scissor or Elite left-hand scissor, for removing length, shaping and clean outlines. Add a thinner, such as the Elite or Electro 6" thinner, for reducing bulk and blending. Always match the scissor to your working hand.

What is the difference between a cutting scissor and a thinner?

A cutting scissor has two straight blades that remove length and create clean lines. A thinner has one toothed blade (the Elite left-hand thinner has 30 teeth) that removes bulk and softens lines for a more blended finish.
