1. NAK Hydrate Shampoo and Conditioner
The starting point for most people and NAK's biggest seller for a reason. Hydrate Shampoo and Hydrate Conditioner are built for dry, frizzy or thick hair, and they leave hair feeling soft and looking smoother without weighing it down. If you have never used NAK before and your hair is not blonde-toned, damaged or oily, buy these. The Hydrate Duo 500ml pairs them at a better price than buying separately.
2. NAK Ultimate Treatment 60 Second Repair
The product hairdressers will recommend before anything else. Apply after shampooing, leave for a minute, rinse. Hair comes out feeling smoother, softer and far easier to detangle, which is why it lives on salon backbars and why the 1-litre size exists. Buy the 150ml to try it or the 1-litre if you already know you like it. The litre is the better buy per use by a wide margin.
3. NAK Structure Complex Protein Shampoo
NAK's protein shampoo for hair that has been coloured, bleached, straightened or heat-styled into feeling weak and limp. This is the shampoo that won Best in Care at the 2025 ANZ Hair Industry Awards. One rule: alternate it with Hydrate or Nourish rather than using it every wash, because protein without moisture makes hair feel stiff. Get the shampoo and the matching conditioner.
4. NAK Structure Complex No.3 Bond Enhancer
The at-home step of the Structure Complex system, used between salon visits on hair that is chemically treated. Salons in Adelaide sell it to clients who colour regularly, and it is the product they ask for by name when they come to us. If your hairdresser has mentioned a “bond” product to you, this is NAK's version.
5. NAK Blonde Plus Shampoo
The mid-strength toning shampoo, and the best-selling of NAK's three blonde shampoos. Blonde Plus deposits violet pigment to neutralise strong yellow, gold and brassy tones in blonde and highlighted hair. Use it once or twice a week in place of your normal shampoo. 6. NAK Platinum Blonde Anti-Yellow Shampoo
The strongest toner in the range, made for platinum, white, silver and grey hair. Platinum Blonde Anti-Yellow is the shampoo colourists put in the hands of clients who have just gone very light and want to keep it looking cool and clean. Too strong for darker or warmer blondes, so read the comparison above before you buy.
7. NAK Replends Moisture Mask
The weekly mask for hair that drinks moisture and still feels dry. Replends is richer than the 60 Second treatment and is meant to sit for five to ten minutes. Thick, coarse, curly or very long hair gets the most out of it. Fine hair should stick with the 60 Second Repair.
8. NAK Curl Shampoo and Conditioner
A proper curl system rather than a hydrating shampoo with “curl” on the label. The shampoo cleans without stripping, the conditioner adds slip for detangling, and the two together give curls and waves more definition and less frizz. Finish with Curls Crème and skip the Structure Complex line unless your curls are chemically damaged.
9. NAK Dry Texture Spray
The styling product Adelaide salons buy by the case. Spray Dry Texture Spray into dry hair for grip, body and that lived-in texture that makes fine or straight hair look thicker. It works on all lengths and does not leave hair feeling sticky.
10. NAK Fixation Finishing Spray
The workhorse hairspray. Fixation gives firm hold that brushes out, dries fast, and does not flake. It is the finishing spray most of our salons use for upstyles and blow-dries, and the one home users buy once they have tried it at the salon.
11. NAK Barber: Surf Wax, Out of Control and Slick Pomade
NAK's men's range is a barbershop favourite because the 90g tins are priced right and the three core styling products cover the three main looks. Surf Wax gives a matte, textured finish with a medium hold. Out of Control is the firm-hold texture paste for shorter, messier styles. Slick Pomade is the water-based pomade for classic combed-back and side-part looks with shine.
12. NAK Nourish Shampoo 1L
The best-value bottle in the range. Nourish is the everyday shampoo for normal to dry hair, and the 1-litre size is what salons use on the basin. For a family or anyone with long hair, one litre replaces three 350ml bottles and clears our free-shipping threshold on its own. There is a 350ml if you want to try it first.
13. NAK Balance Shampoo
For oily roots and scalps that feel greasy by the end of the day. Balance Shampoo cleans thoroughly without the tight, squeaky feeling that harsher clarifying shampoos leave behind. Alternate with Hydrate if your lengths are dry but your roots are oily.
